We have a four-step process that we use to help each client overcome the problems of a disaster. Our process ensures that your home is restored to its pre-disaster condition quickly.

Step One - Identify The Problem

The first step in the restoration process is to identify the problem so that you know how to proceed. This is the easiest part of the process. If a fire happened, it is obvious the cause of the problem. You can also easily determine the cause of flooding and storm damage. If you have called about mold remediation, finding the cause may be a little more difficult because you must find how the water is entering the structure.

Step Two - Fix The Problem

The next step is to solve the problem. If there is exterior structural damage, repairs must be made to prevent further damage to the home. If there is a leak, it must be fixed, and if flooding is happening from an inside source, it must be stopped and repaired. Once the problem has been repaired and the property is safe to enter, we can proceed to the next step.

Step Three - Repair The Damage

The next step is to start repairing the interior damage. This may include repairing or replacing walls, ceilings, and flooring. The carpeting may need to be deep cleaned or replaced. Baseboards and crown molding may need to be replaced. Water pipes and wiring needs to be checked and repaired. The HVAC system should be checked and cleaned.

The house should be professionally dried out using dehumidifiers. This will ensure that no further damage occurs to the walls, floors and ceilings. It will also help prevent mold growth. Once the house has been dried, it should be checked for mold.

Damaged items that cannot be repaired should be removed from the property so that the next step can begin. We will do our best to minimize damaged items.

Step Four - Restore The Property

The final step is restoring the property. This includes painting and deep cleaning. Fires can leave soot and smoke residue on every surface. Cleaning everything will remove this residue and the associated odors.

Deep cleaning after water intrusion is also necessary. Any area left damp can encourage odors ad mold growth. Even after the home has been professionally dried, everything should be cleaned, including the furniture, when the house has experienced flooding.

We will also check your electrical sockets and your appliances to ensure that they have not been damaged during the event. This is especially true if water has entered your home. We will also ensure that your light switches are working and that your HVAC system turns on and off.

Once all of the interior cleaning and painting is complete, the home will be completely restored.
